The aim of Absolute School of Modelling is to teach and mentor those who are interested in pursuing a career in modelling, those who wish to build up their portfolio, improve their overall deportment, those who wish to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the industry or those who simply wish to work on their confidence.

This course in not merely directed towards those who wish to become models, it is for women of all ages! Whilst the course takes place over one day, our ongoing aftercare service aims to provide all our students with work experience within the industry through our vast network of clients.

Our students continuously gain work experience through makeup photo shoots, fashion shows, hair shows, promotional events, television work, acting work, commercial shoots and music videos to name but a few! Our priority is offering every student the opportunity to try their hand at modelling in as many ways as possible.

So what topics will be covered on the day?
- Becoming a model

- Confidence development with Anne Morgan – former model and qualified psychotherapist with a BA in Psychology and an MA in Psychotherapy

- Modelling agencies

- The ins and outs of the industry

- Networking

- Presentation

- Intensive catwalk training with our internationally renowned runway trainer

- Hair and makeup

- Safety within the industry

- Photography and working with photographers

- And of course you will take part in your very own photoshoot with Absolute Studios Dublin from which you will receive 6 images (head and full length) to add to your portfolio

There are no requirements or restrictions at Absolute School of Modelling except that you are 15 years of age or over and that you come along wearing blue jeans and a white tank top and of course your heels for your runway training! We also ask that all students bring 2 outfits to wear for their photoshoot.

Photoshoot:
We also provide a professional photoshoot by our photographer Lee from Absolute Studios Dublin (www.absolutestudiosdublin.net) at the end of the course giving each student containing 6 profile and portrait shots these pictures my be use to start of your portfolio book.

Hair & Make-Up:
Before you get your photo we’ll have our team of professional hair stylist and make-up artists prepare your hair and make for your photoshoot.

Aftercare & Work Experience:
We keep in contact will all the girls from the course and provide them with work experience. Here's a list of the work experience we get girls:- Make-up Photoshoots, Hair Styling Fashion Shows/Photoshoots, Fashion Shows, Promo work & Shoots, TV Work on Ireland AM / Xpose, Acting work, Clothes Modelling Shoots, Modelling for Fashion Websites, Magazine & News Paper Shoots, Music Videos.
